Ich bewerte das Gerät: CTF840-SH TRANSFLEKTIV PRO mit der Serien-Nummer: S840483, das ich kürzlich gekauft habe.
Als herausragendes Merkmal dieses Touchsreens wird von CarTFT sein transflektives Panel und hier insbesondere dessen reflexive (reflektive) Eigenschaft herausgestellt, durch die eine gute Ablesbarkeit auch bei direkter Sonneneinstrahlung möglich sein soll (sunlight readable). Um es kurz zu sagen, die diesbezüglichen Fähigkeiten sind total enttäuschend. Und ich weiß wovon ich rede. Seit mehr als 5 Jahren verwende ich das Garmin-GPS iQue 3600 (PDA mit transflektivem Bildschirm von Palm), das (bei jeder also auch bei geringer oder ganz abgeschalteter Hintergrundbeleuchtung) bei Sonnenlicht problemlos ablesbar ist und zwar um so besser, je direkter (senkrechter) die Sonne auf das Panel auftrifft. Auf dem CTF840 ist unter den gleichen Voraussetzungen überhaupt nichts erkennbar. Es ist sehr bedauerlich, daß CarTFT hier meilenweit hinter dem Stand der Technik hinterherhinkt und ein derart schwaches Ergebnis als besondere Innovation herausstellt.
Ansonsten kann der Bildschirm meine Erwartungen z.B. bezüglich Helligkeit, Auflösung, Mobilität und Touchscreen-Bedienung sowie Software-Kompatibilität erfüllen. Äußerlich macht das Gerät einen qualitativ hochwertigen Eindruck.
Wer einen Touchscreen ohne besondere Anforderungen an dessen Ablesbarkeit bei Sonnenlicht sucht, ist mit dem Gerät gut bedient, allerdings zu einem stolzen Preis. Wer jedoch das Gerät bei direkter Sonneneinstrahlung verwenden will, sollte warten, bis CarTFT den technologischen Rückstand aufgeholt und wenigstens das Niveau meines mehr als 5 Jahre alten iQue 3600 erreicht hat. Da für meine Anwendungsfälle die Ablesbarkeit bei Sonneneinstrahlung eine ganz wesentliche Rolle spielt und ich das Gerät ausschließlich unter diesem (von CarTFT besonders herausgestellten) Aspekt gekauft habe, kann ich für den Touchscreen CTF840-SH TRANSFLEKTIV PRO - trotz seiner sonstigen guten Eigenschaften - nur einen Stern vergeben.

Very good, clear screen, even in difficult conditions (sunlight).
We use it in daily work conditions, users are very content about this one. They do not want something else anymore.

Die Ablesbarkeit in der Sonne ist wirklich sehr gut.
Nun kann man sich uneingeschränkt auf den Sommer freuen!
Beim alten (normale CTF-Serie) bedeutete ein sonniger Tag immer ein KO. 30% der Zeit ist das Display unlesbar gewesen.
Nun gibt es sowas nichtmehr.
Selbst die Farben bleiben gut zu erkennen.
Navigon Navigator ist auf Nachtmodus selbst bei direkter Sonneneinstrahlung gut lesbar. Wirklich genial.
Das Geld ist super angelegt. Auch der Touch ist viel hochwertiger als bei den anderen TFTs.
Von mir gibt es eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!

Hallo,
zugegeben im ersten Moment ist der PReis sehr hich für ein 8,4" TFT jedoch wird man im Direkten Vergleich zu den 100-200 eur geräten schnell merken das es sich hier um erstklassige ware handelt - die Verarbeitung ist einfach nur klasse und die Bedienbarkeit ist sehr angenehm - und mal ehrlich - wen hat nicht schonmal die Sonne gestört? hiermit wird das Problem auf ein Minimum reduziert - also wer das nötige Kleingeld hat und auf eine in-dash lösung verzichten kann / muss der ist mit diesem Gerät bestens bedient. Trotz Preis gibt es 5 Sterne!

Screen image quality and touchscreen accuracy leave nothing to be desired. The screen really is extremely bright and glare-resistant. Driver installation under Windows 7 is easy. Although I personally do not have use for this feature and therefor have not tried it, the software does offer support for using several of these touchscreen monitors on one computer.
There is only one area where I believe the manufacturer should improve in future revisions of this product: The standard connector for PC audio is the 3.5mm jack, NOT cinch. Although cinch offers better audio quality, extremely few sound cards and no integrated sound chips offer cinch outputs. This device, however, only has cinch for audio input - in my case, it was not a problem, as I could quickly solder an adapter out of some spare audio cables. Yet, I believe that such an adapter should be included.
